Yesterday, Jeff Bell insulted every woman in New Jersey with despicable language that could only have come from the back room in a right-wing think tank in Washington, D.C.

The Asbury Park Press reported that Jeff Bell told them in an interview:

"Single mothers particularly are automatically Democratic because of the benefits. They need benefits to survive, and so that kind of weds them to the Democratic Party."

Despicable -- we need to fight back immediately.

I wish I could say I'm shocked, but we already knew that Jeff Bell is against abortion in the case of rape and incest, and that he believes that widespread access to contraception has led to more abortions.

Jeff Bell's views are beyond backward, but according to the Asbury Park Press' reading of the New Jersey polls, "Two-thirds of likely voters have no opinion of him".
