Some Questions To Consider:


1. Characters - are they consistent, believable?

2. Dialogue - does anything ring wrong to you?

3. Pace - At any point does the book bog down for you?

4. The mystery - does it unfold effectively? Do you feel you've been
treated "fairly" by the author i.e. had a chance to figure it out for
yourself?

5. Confusion - At any point were you confused, unclear or in the dark
about anything?

6. The end - does it payoff? Is it satisfying or a letdown?
