FYI below. Troy has seen all of our detailed track record data as well as PPM and references. They want to help us raise the fund. They were recommended to me by DuPont and have a great track record in raising growth equity funds.


This is a testament to our outstanding team, track record and strategy. Also, great job to everyone and thanks for attending the meeting with Suzanne in NY last week. She was clearly impressed.


I will start negotiating fees with her. I suggest we also get a few other third party marketers in the mix before committing to Troy.

Hi John,

Thank you for sending the diligence information I had requested, this looks very good. I think we can be highly successful in raising this fund with this additional background.


There is much work to be done here, I would like to suggest putting in place a short of "Letter of Intent" so that we can get started on this work as soon as possible while we prepare a contract.


Regarding fees, as you know the industry standard is 2% of all capital raised. I have been more flexible with the last two growth equity engagements, closer to 1.5%. We can discuss


I am available today or tomorrow to talk further. Let me know some times that work on your end. As you know we have another storm on the East Coast again the next few days.

Also, I was just asked to chair a panel at the June "Super Return" Conference in Boston. If we get through the diligence process and decide to work together I may be able to bring someone from your firm to join me for this session. It is a 5 day industry conference which will be very well attended by U.S. and offshore L.P.s.
