Former JVs, Jesuits, support people, and all members of the JVC Northwest community
are welcome at Orientation throughout the week, with the biggest opportunity being
Friday, August 12 for our annual Missioning Banquet and Liturgy.
Here are some highlights of each day in case you're thinking of joining at Orientation:

* Wednesday (8/10) - Trainings, Community Building

Banquet & Liturgy
The Missioning Banquet will begin at 6 p.m. followed by the
Missioning Liturgy at 8 p.m.

incoming JVs.
We are collecting letters written by former JVs to give out to the '16-17 JVs at
the Missioning Banquet on Friday evening. These letters can be words of encouragement,
anecdotes about your time as a JV, or even your favorite St. Ignatius quote.
Whether your message is specifically for Omak JVs, one particular incoming JV, or
just a general note of inspiration for any JV, please send them to Zach at outreach@jvcnorthwest.org

2016 Orientation Theme - "On Our Way"

Do you know which way you are headed? Who or what is calling you there? Who are
you accompanying? These questions inspired us for this year's theme. Individually,
we walk our own ways, and in a JV year, we walk the way with our community, our
clients, and countless others.
This year we celebrate 60 years of thousands of JVs walking paths inspired by their
JVC Northwest experiences.
This Orientation theme corresponds with our 60th Anniversary logo, which depicts
a compass: a fitting symbol, as it represents the transformative journey of the
JV experience and how that experience has helped many JVs find their direction
and an understanding of their life purpose. The compass holds the four core values
that guide our journey and help point the way forward in our work and life.
