Gentlemen, A couple of quick updates for the March Madness event in 2013. We have confirmed the same suite as last year with the Washington Nationals. We will have the room in the evening for the second round of the Tournament, March 21, 2013. Ashley Hinman, a member of the Washington Nationals event staff, will be joining our planning committee shortly. She was in charge of the event last year and has some great ideas from an event planning perspective. I am looking forward to working with each of you as the event gets closer and please feel free to reach out with any ideas, questions, or concerns that you have. David Buckner ZERO – The End of Prostate Cancer Director of Constituent Relations and Advocacy Direct - (202) 303-3106 Cell - (202) 664 4342 From: Skip Lockwood <skip@zerocancer.org> Date: Wednesday, July 25, 2012 10:30 AM To: David Buckner <davidb@zerocancer.org> Cc: Rob Walker <rwalker@rosemontseneca.com>, Mike Smith <msmith@cgagroup.com>, Mike Manatos <mike.manatos@manatos.com>, Eric Schwerin <eschwerin@rosemontseneca.com>, Mason Christopher <christopher.w.mason@jpmorgan.com>, Barry Rosenfeld <BARRYROSENFELD@verizon.net> Subject: Re: March Madness Host Committee Dinner Gentlemen, Two things. First, thank you for an excellent dinner. It was a pleasure spending time with you and the ideas for improving next year's March Madness activity are fantastic. We are working with the Nationals to get a date nailed downed for next year. Second, I have copied David Buckner on this email. David is the new Director of Constituent Relations. He moved up and over from government relations and while he will continue to have some responsibilities on Cap. Hill, his primary responsibility is to better coordinate our volunteers/grassroots with our programming and advocacy. Each of you probably have many contacts in common. The only real downside is that David is from Texas but he seems to be overcoming that handicap nicely. Thanks again for helping us make the March Madness event such as success. You will be hearing from David shortly with further updates and information.
