What would you call a man who says women are pigs, who says immigrants are drug dealers, and who implicitly encourages gun violence?

Unstable? Racist? Unhinged?

Republicans call him their nominee for president.

With Donald Trump in the mix, this Election Year has been thrown completely off keel. His instability could drag down his Republican allies in all kinds of down-ballot races.

Of course, there is some bad news for us here. Trump is such a bad candidate that special interest groups -- including the Koch network -- refuse to help him.

Sound like good news? It's not for us. Those groups are turning their focus (and by "focus," I mean money and personnel) toward helping Republicans keep hold of the Senate.

Yes, we have an opportunity. But if we want to take advantage, we have to be stronger than the Kochs.
