Our group does not have any knowledge of any planned announcements; however we have assembled a communications working group with reps from comms, GA, marketing and IID that is meeting later today to discuss possible public outreach. Additionally, we have our counterparts from Alstom coming in on Wednesday for a coordination meeting. I can reach out to my comms contact at FRA to get more details, or let me know if there is a better contact.

To the best of my knowledge we have not heard from the VPs office about RRIF or any announcement related to the Trainset project. Indeed, unless FRA puts a lot of hustle into it, the RRIF loan documentation won’t be complete by Wednesday.

Corporate Communications is starting coordination with Alstom on the contract announcement but certainly something this week wasn’t envisioned since, just like the RRIF loan, we are still finishing negotiations on the purchase contract and TSSSA. In checking with FRA last week, corporate communications heard that FRA wasn’t working on an announcement.

So whatever it is, if it happens it will be a bit of a scramble.

Heads up - VP's office got in touch with me late last night saying they may want to do an event touting the RRIF loan this week - potentially Wednesday

No further details yet on day or location

I told them I would give you all a heads up but I'm sure they'll also be in touch directly

If they are really going to do this Weds my guess is that it will come together quickly
