John:

A Globe reported called me yesterday for a story about Romney's economic record as governor of MA.

The reporter mentioned that neither of the guys who served as Romney's Secretary of Economic Affairs, Robert Posen and Ranch Kimball, was willing to be interviewed.

In my comments, I said that it was important to focus on the deindustrialized regions within the dste, because they are analogous to large parts of states like Wiscoinsin, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New Hampshire. I passed on the names of some people who have close first-hand knowledge of those regions during the Romney years.
