EMAIL DETAILS

A few things about class tomorrow:

1) Should we go to the faculty meeting? The agenda doesn't seem to have
anything of interest, but maybe we should play nice with others. If we go,
we need to move up our office hours by 30 mins. I'm cool either way.
2) We need to remind students that they need to complete course evaluations
- this is electronic and will be available from tomorrow 8am until May 3.
3) I think we should do four things tomorrow - brief recap of last week,
discussion of Charlie Wilson's War, some sort of recap of the entire course
- for this last bit, we can go case by case, guest by guest and pick out
one or two takeaway lessons from each (and make it interactive by having
the students pick out their big picture lessons from each case/guest).
Finally, I think we should ask for their direct feedback in addition to the
formal course evaluation - what guests and cases were most instructive?

Let me know what you think. I'll send out an announcement later tonight
reminding them that we're back in the usual classroom, changed office hours
(if we do that), and telling them to fill out the electronic course
evaluation
