Attached please find the divergent views of two eminent Fed watchers,
Diane Swonk, chief economist at Mesirow Financial, and economist Michael
Lewis at Free Market, Inc. The subject of course is the highly
anticipated Federal Reserve rate hike. We've added dovish comments from
Andy Haldane, chief economist at the Bank of England, and Zachary
Karabell's thoughts on the broader challenges facing Federal Reserve
Chair Janet Yellen.

To which we've added another scenario for your consideration: instead of
dragging things out and adding to market uncertainty, what if the Fed
decided to raise rates 50 bps in December, and then hold?
