I have some very unfortunate news to report. Apparently this sports memorabilia guy put a hard sell on and was dishonest with one of our event's top fundraisers.

John (referenced in your email below) was actually OUTBID on the item. However, the guy who runs this sports memorabilia operation contacted John and asked if he would be interested in buying the item at his LOSING bid amount of $400. John said he might be and asked for more information.

Next thing John heard, he was on a list of non-payers AND was being billed $500 instead of the $400 offered.

This is bullshit. Especially because John personally brought 7 other guys with him to our event AND had such a good time is planning to bring even more next year. John is the LAST guy we need turned off by some guy not even affiliated with Zero.

Please make sure John is not contacted any more on this. And we need to find someone else to provide this service next year.
