SIGN AND DEMAND THAT THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL STAND UP FOR YOU
This past weekend you were able to experience the Uber magic with free uberX, but we won’t be in Houston for long unless Mayor Parker and the City Council stand up for change. The time has come for Mayor Annise Parker and the City Council to finally stand up for you—not the taxi special interests—and pave the way for efficiency, style, and innovation in Houston transportation.

Under the current regulations, you can’t catch a sedan ride in Houston for less than $70—even if it’s only a 15-minute trip. Oh… and you have to arrange that ride at least 30 minutes in advance. That doesn’t put consumers first and simply isn’t the Uber way; we connect users with the best ride at the best possible price, right when they need it.

ATTEND THE CITY COUNCIL SESSION—AND BRING A FRIEND!
Tomorrow, the City Council will finally discuss changes to those antiquated regulations. Come show your support by signing up to speak at City Hall (901 Bagby Street) on Tuesday, February 25 at 10am! Tell Mayor Parker and the City Council why #HoustonNeedsUber.
