We all kind of figured that you were caught in the middle on this one so all good.

I spoke to Rotolo, whom I really like, & he explained, sort of, after speaking w/ Rich presumably, the "evolution" or change of heart that occurred, which confirmed where this was headed...and not towards accommodation.

As it turns out, knowing the market here as well as we do (29 years for me), the very successful DC restauranteurs in it, and given my experience in the business w/ my family's significant Texas-based restaurant chain, after internal discussions, we came to the hard conclusion that it was not a sound financial investment here anyhow.

So all is well that ends well.

After chatting w/ my buddies, we all kind of see where this conversation is headed & we have our pride so you know what? We are going to be gentlemen about this -- Dan, James, Gerry & I -- and not pressure Rich or anyone else and just let sleeping dogs lie...that way everyone will be happy & all can move on.
