Bernanke was "careful not to commit to further monetary stimulus. . .
.Demand is growing more slowly than the Fed believed, inlfation is
falling below target, progress on unemployment is glacial, and the
risks are loaded on the downside. What’s the Fed waiting for?"

conflict is threatening to spread, “U.S. officials should strive to
convince the Saudi royals that a fairer deal for Bahrain's Shiites, not
to mention Saudi Arabia's, would strengthen their position and lessen
