Hope all's well. I know what a busy time it is for you and your family. I wanted to check back in with you about my race for Congress. As you know, I recently stepped down as Arizona state Democratic
Party chair after being recruited
to run for Congress in a new, open, "Red to Blue" district here. It
is an area that we won even in 2010, the ticket won the area in 2008
despite not competing in the state, and I am in a strong position to win in
November. In the first quarter, we were in the top 5 Democratic campaigns in the
country in terms of fundraising with a lot
of national as well as local support and we had more cash on hand than all
9 of our opponents combined.
