Hello to all!!

I am writing to invite you to participate in the Run to End Homelessness as a part of the team "Rags of Honor". Many of you know that I spent a year in Afghanistan and watched billions go toward projects that were doomed before they were even finished, while across the US we have 76,000 veterans who are homeless, sleeping under bridges and literally in boxes at night.


Rags of Honor is the company I have just started for the sole purpose of employing only veterans, who have struggled to re-enter the work force after their deployments.

Our company is buying ONLY 100% US made cotton tee shirts and we are employing ONLY veterans to do silk screening work for special events, concerts, marathons, triathlons, etc. Our first customers are some big names in country music and we will be rolling tee shirts off the presses by the middle of August.

I teamed up with A Safe Haven to form this company, and our first employees will be some of the 70 homeless vets currently living there.

This event will be the first event Rags of Honor does this year, and what better way to start than with our partner A Safe Haven to help them with their mission.

All of you who run (or walk) will also be the first to get an official Rags of Honor tee shirts that I know you will all wear proudly even after the race.

Make sure you put a shirt size because you will get a "Runtoendhomelessness" tee shirt AND your own Rags of Honor tee shirt..

It will be a great day, so I hope some ( if not ALL!!) of you can make it.
