access to the Valley. We could get in the deal with an SPV.


OSI shows great access as well, but Backplane has snob appeal that may be a
valuable currency.


Sequoia and Greylock have committed to Series B. Backplane has over half a
million registered users and is generating revenue from multiple sources.
The first major community that has been launched is Lady Gaga's
www.Littlemonsters.com and The Backplane is about to announce a partnership
with Nike to build a community for their die-hard brand followers nicknamed
"Sneakerheads."
