The American College of Trial Lawyers' Spring Meeting is from 3/6-3/9/14 at
the La Quinta Resort in La Quinta, CA.

Beau is scheduled to make remarks at the General Session on Saturday, March
7th from 8:40a-9:10a. They've also asked he attend a speakers' breakfast in
advance from 7:30a-8:30a. He doesn't need to be there the full hour, but he
should arrive no later than 8:00-8:10a, so he can meet ACTL President
Robert Byman and Executive Director Dennis Maggi and line up with the other
speakers. The President and ED will lead the line of speakers into the
general session (across the hall) at 8:25a.

Beau is the first speaker, and will be introduced by Bart Dalton after
President Byman give welcoming remarks. We haven't finalized Beau's
remarks, but, generally, they will be on the topic of child protection.

Depending on flights home, Beau can leave the stage immediately after his
remarks conclude, or he can stay until the session ends at 11:30a. There
will be seating in the front row of the meeting for you, while Beau is on
stage.

ACTL is providing flight and hotel accommodations, and I need to book your
flights through their travel agent. I did pull some flight details, which
are below, so you both can decide what your preferences are. They have two
hotel rooms on hold for Thursday-Saturday. We can consolidate to one room,
and you all can arrive on Friday, if you prefer.

Since La Quinta is in Palm Springs, the travel agent recommended that you
both arrive in LA and are on the road no later than 11:30a to avoid
traffic, especially if you come in Friday. You do have the option of flying
directly to Palm Springs, however, there are no direct flights, and the
flight options out of Baltimore are terrible.

I think these are your best flight options--

Baltimore to LA:

United Airlines
Thursday/Friday: Depart BWI at 6:45a; Arrive at LAX at 9:34a -- this is the
only direct flight out of BWI that puts you in to LAX in the AM
Saturday: Depart LAX at 10:09p; Arrive at BWI at 6:58a Sunday

Philadelphia to Palm Springs:

Thursday/Friday: Depart PHL at 3:35p; Arrive at PHX at 6:56p
Depart PHX at 7:43p; Arrive at PSP at 7:51p
Saturday: Depart PSP at 11:30a; Arrive at DFW at 4:20p
Depart DFW at 5:05p; Arrive at PHL at 9:15p

Philadelphia to LA:

Thursday/Friday: Depart PHL at 7:38a; Arrive at LAX at 10:45a
Saturday: Depart LAX at 2:20p; Arrive at PHL at 10:13p
