Robert,

Russ’ opponent was prominently mentioned in the Kansas City Star a few days ago. We hope you’ll consider the following carefully.

After you read this, will you pitch in to help Russ bring responsible, steady leadership to Missouri?

Mike Parson won the GOP primary for Lt. Governor, and he’ll be competing against Russ on the ballot in November. But here’s what Parson’s own former chief of staff had to say about him:

"We do not want someone this volatile occupying the office that is only one heartbeat away from the governor's desk," said the chief of staff, who is a Republican and a former state legislator himself.

The Star further reports that Parson’s chief of staff "witnessed [Parson] agreeing to propose legislation on behalf of lobbyists who had contributed to his campaign without having any idea what the legislation actually did."

Here’s the bottom line: We can’t allow Mike Parson to win this race and shape policy as Missouri’s Lieutenant Governor. We have to double down and elect Russ Carnahan -- a respected public servant and a proven leader. Will you pitch in now to elect Russ?

Thanks,
Team Carnahan
