Stronger Together

This has been a common theme and rallying call this week at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia. Yet it is far more than just a campaign slogan.

Stronger Together is an idea that has guided our nation to accomplish unimaginable feats and to overcome insurmountable odds. It is also a way of life, one my fellow Marines and I lived by every single day while serving in Iraq.

Donald Trump does not represent the values of the United States. He does not believe we are stronger together and he has no clue how to keep America safe. Even worse, he is dangerous and already threatens our security -- from praising Saddam Hussein to questioning our involvement in NATO, to openly calling on our greatest adversary to conduct cyber-attacks against the United States government.

The world must be confident that they will have no better friend, and no worse enemy than the United States of America. Hillary Clinton understands that. Donald Trump does not.

That's why we've got to come together as Americans and do the right thing for our future, to defeat Donald Trump and elect Hillary Clinton in November.

This election is not just about one party or the other. It’s about working together for the future of our country. And the stakes couldn't be higher, from the safety of our streets and our troops to the wellbeing of our children and generations to come.

That's why I'm with her, and I hope you will be too.
