Hunter, I'm writing an honors thesis on the "Efficiency of Mercenaries in War" and if it's not too much of an inconvenience, I was wondering if you might be willing to sit down with me on Friday, March 20 to discuss the topic/my paper. The project is a case study comparing the British use of "Hessian" mercenaries in the American Revolutionary War and the American use of contractors in Iraq and Afghanistan. From a political science standpoint, my goal is to draw parallels between the two scenarios to show why governments choose to employ mercenaries and from there, adopt more of an economics viewpoint to assess the feasibility/efficiency of such decisions. I expect the paper to be around 30-35 pages in length. If you don't have the time or if the 20th isn't the best day for you, I completely understand. I've "CC'ed Katie" to this email to help find a time that works best. Thanks a lot for your time and help! Best, Mike Laffin -- Michael F.
