Glad to have had the opportunity to share with you our efforts to create
pathways from STEM education to careers; especially for underrepresented
groups, ethnic minorities, girls & young women, and veterans. We view this
as a unique opportunity for public-private-nonprofit partnerships to
create gender equity, economic growth & social prosperity. In the past
couple of years, I have had the privilege of working with the White House
OSTP on STEM initiatives, and have great respect for the Administration's
efforts in this area.
