Dear fellow 8th grade parents,

Incredible as it seems, the end of our children’s Middle School careers is
fast approaching!

We need your help to organize a great send-off for them, and specifically
to find a nice venue for the planned graduation party on the evening ofFriday
June 5. This will be a kids-only event. Ideally, we are looking for a place
with both a pool and an indoor space suitable for a DJ and dancing, that
can accommodate our 96 students (we hope all will come!). But the pool is
not indispensable: a nice place where the kids can hang out both indoors
and outdoors would do just fine (and we could put a tent outdoors in case
of rain).

If your house fits the bill and you would be willing to volunteer it for
the party, we would LOVE to hear from you! Hosting would not involve any
other commitments; we grade reps will take care of everything, with the
help of other volunteers.

Alternatively, if you know of any suitable reasonably-priced rental venues,
we would love to hear about those too. (Thank you to those who already made
suggestions at the conversation with Sally yesterday morning.)

Please let us have any ideas by Saturday (March 7).
