They should have routine childhood vaccines, plus Hepatitis A (good for 10 years), Yellow Fever (good for 10 years), and Typhoid (good for 2-3 years). These are "recommended", not "required" for the planned itinerary (unless we were coming from a high-risk for yellow fever country). If they have their shot records, we can check it for them.

I recommend Hep A for college students anyway, so that one is definitely worth getting if she doesn't already have it.

The reason to make sure you have Yellow Fever vaccine if you get a chance is that it is the only one that is actually "required" for entry into certain countries. It's good for 10 years, and has to be received more than 10 days before travel when it is required - so best to just knock it out if you are a frequent traveller. Big new caution with that one is any history of MS - then it's a big no-no.

Typhoid is pretty routine for travel. Cool. V/R KO
