Biographical Information


Dao Le is the NEW Deputy Senior Commercial Officer heading to the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, Iraq this summer. He most recently served as Senior Commercial Officer at the U.S. Embassy in Doha, Qatar.

Mr. Le's previous posts abroad include ASEAN Regional Coordinator and Commercial Officer in Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi), Singapore, and India. His previous domestic posts include Director of the U.S. Commercial Service offices in Cincinnati and Monterey. He also served as a Trade Specialist in Silicon Valley.

Mr. Le previously served as an Adjunct Professor at the College of Business at Wright State University in Ohio and at the Graduate School of Commercial Diplomacy at Monterey Institute of International Studies. He was also a Research Analyst at the Center for Non-Proliferation at Monterey Institute.

Mr. Le received a Bachelor of Science from Santa Clara University and a Master of Arts from Monterey Institute of International Studies.
