I hope you all are having a GREAT summer so far!! I am sorry for the late notice, but I just got some REALLY exciting news that I wanted to share with you all! On Monday (July 11th), 20 Breakout Lacrosse players (10 boy and 10 girls) have been invited to play and learn more about the game of lacrosse on the White House South Lawn as part of the Let's Move campaign headed by the First Lady, Michelle Obama! This is a wonderful opportunity for the kids, Breakout Lacrosse and will be a ton of fun!


As I am sure you can tell - I am not able to bring everyone in Breakout. This team fits the perfect age bracket we have been given by White House personnel. I can take 10 girls so please let me know immediately if your daughter can make it. I did not want to choose between you all, so the first 10 that get back to me will be able to attend. I also need confirmation by 3pm today, so time is short anyway.


Here are the details:

Let's Move! South Lawn Event - Lacrosse
Monday, July 11, 2011
White House South Lawn
10:00 AM-12:00 PM

The Lacrosse South Lawn Series will highlight the cultural significance of the game of lacrosse as it pertains to Let's Move! Lacrosse, the fastest-growing sport in the US, has Native American origins, and the event will be used to introduce Native youth as well as other youth to the game and its history.

There are a few things I need from each of you before we can move forward BEFORE 3PM TODAY:

* Whether your child can make it or not on Monday July 11th?
* If your child can make it - The White House will need all of the following information about your child (anyone that goes to the White House needs to submit this information)

* Full name (including middle name)
* Date of birth
* Social Security Number
* If they are a citizen of the US or not
* State you currently live in

I need this information AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, so please let me know immediately so we can get this submitted to the White House personnel. I need to submit our "roster" before 3pm TODAY (7/7) and that is a firm deadline they gave me this morning.

I hope your daughter can do this wonderful event to highlight lacrosse on the White House Lawn! For those that can make it - I will send out the meeting place details (will be at 9:30 on Monday morning) and pick-up details tonight.
