Des Moines Register: Iowa agrees to give Medicaid management firms 7.5% raise to continue running program
By every measure, Gov. Reynolds' privatization of Medicaid is a failure, team.

Iowa taxpayers are paying hundreds of millions more than promised while tens of thousands of Iowans' services are denied or reduced and providers across the state are being forced to close because of delays and denials in payments from Managed Care Organizations.

And now Gov. Reynolds wants to give those very same MCOs a raise.

Our state needs a leader who will put people first -- and on Day One as governor I'll work to reverse this Medicaid nightmare and ensure Iowans have the care they deserve.
