Summer is ending, and we closed out the month with a bang! In August, we launched the new JetSmarter.com (https://jetsmarter.com/) (you can now book flights on the web!), announced an exciting partnership and continued to experience tremendous growth, with shared flight frequency increasing over 20% since rolling out pay-as-you-go access.

There’s still time to fit in a quick last summer getaway, so make sure you’re checking the app - and your email - for any deals on seat bookings!

APP UPDATES

When you create a flight on one of our existing routes, you’ll notice a new way to view guaranteed and crowdfunded flight options.

You will now see that a flight is not guaranteed until the seat minimum is met as indicated by the darker background shade. If you opt for the crowdfunded flight option, a hold will be placed on your card until the minimum seat requirement is met. If it isn’t met, the hold will be released.
JETSMARTER APP

When you purchase the minimum seat requirement to guarantee a flight, you can choose to offer any seats you don’t need through the My Trips section of your app after your purchase.
OUR NEW WEBSITE IS LIVE

We are thrilled to unveil our new and improved website, now live! In addition to a complete redesign, we’ve enhanced the browsing experience, integrated new functionalities and expanded booking capabilities to desktop.

MEMBER OF THE MONTH

As part of our monthly series, we’re introducing Sophisticated member, Rich Montalvo. Rich frequently travels between New York and South Florida and has flown nearly 90 hours since becoming a member in 2016. Check out what he has to say about JetSmarter:

Q: How did you first hear about JetSmarter?

A: A few years ago, my friend mentioned that JetSmarter had a route between New York and Florida that might work for me. So, I looked into it, and never looked back!

Q: What do you like most about JetSmarter?

A: I love the entire FBO experience, from arriving just 30 minutes before my flight to not dealing with TSA and the headache of commercial airports. I think that in particular has added years to my life.

Q: How does JetSmarter support your lifestyle?

A: We split our time between our homes in New York and Florida. Our daughter also attends school in New York, so we fly there to visit often.

Q: How do you describe JetSmarter to friends and family?

A: I explain that beyond the flights, the entire JetSmarter experience is a pleasure and huge timesaver.

Q: What is your favorite route to fly?

A: I mostly fly NY/South Florida route, primarily because we visit our daughter often. But I have also used JetSmarter on many other routes.

Q: What has been your favorite experience as a JetSmarter member so far?

A: Well, so many come to mind; but a few that stand out are the Masters Tournament and Art Basel events, which created great memories and resulted in lifelong friendships.
