<p><span style="font-family: Calibri;">This year’s unusually severe winter weather has left us, at this point, with a deficit of two days in the minimum number of required school days. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Calibri;"> </span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Calibri;">We will make-up these days by holding school on May 26, Memorial Day, and pushing back our end-of-year activities to gain one additional day of instruction for Pre-K through 11<sup><span style="font-size: 13px;">th</span></sup> grades.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-family: Calibri;">Snow in late March is not unheard of in DC, so I must add that any additional missed days will be made up by adding snow-make-up days the week of June 9.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-family: Calibri;">I know that any change in our schedule will inconvenience some. But I also know that we can rally to meet our obligation to make up for lost time and lost rhythm during these winter months. </span></p>
