<p>We had a very positive response to the winter league opportunity, with 13 girls committed at this point. We might possibly be able to accommodate up to two more players, but would need to know their interest in the next few days. Below is the preliminary list according to email responses that were either sent to oach Miller or to me. Please correct this list if I have missed anyone or have characterized their interest incorrectly.</p>

<p>The registration process from here is quite simple. Please assess the web link below and register your daughter, or have her self register. </p>

<p>The registration process is multi step. Here are a few tips that will ease the process:</p>
<ul style="list-style-type: disc;">
<li>Once on the PlayHerSports website, click the Sign Up button on the left.</li>
<li>This will take you to a page that will allow expedited registration for players with existing accounts at the facility. I suspect that this will not include many of our players and you will have to go through the longer process. Go to the two drop-down boxes at the bottom of the page and indicate "New" versus "Returning Player" in the first box, and "Lacrosse" in the second.</li>
<li>This will take you to the actual registration page, on which please include player information as well as health insurance information.</li>
<li>In the drop-down boxes, please select "Indoor Lacrosse" and for division, please select "Elite". There is a possibility that we will instead be playing in the varsity division, or one level down, depending upon the caliber of the other teams that sign up for elite division and the balance of experience of our final roster. Either level should provide a fun experience.</li>
<li>In the team or coach drop-down box please type "Sidwell Friends".</li>
<li>Proceed to method of payment.</li>
</ul>
<p>Again, if there is additional interest beyond the list above, please communicate with either Coach Miller or myself before attempting to register. Otherwise, you will take one of the slots that has been reserved for the confirmed players.</p>

<p>Coach Miller is currently researching opportunities to get a few days of play in before the winter league starts. Please be on the lookout for emails from her or from one of the upperclassmen. I also understand that there is a team Facebook page that is frequently used for broadcast communication to the players. Please see Claire Thompson '15 if you are not already a member of the Facebook group and would like to join.</p>
