Greetings parents,


It was amazing to see the Spirit at work during the Confirmation retreat
this past Saturday. Your children reflected and shared about the
individual gifts and talents and how they can serve others with those
gifts. In addition, they talked about how the 7 gifts of the Holy Spirit
(Wisdom, Knowledge, Courage, Reverence, Wonder and Awe, Understanding, and
Right Judgment) can be tools in their everyday lives. I encourage you to
ask them about a time when one of these gifts can be used!


*SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES THIS WEEKEND*

*November 1, 10am-12:30pm*

Saturday Service Club will volunteer at Little Friends for Peace!
Volunteers will teach peace skills to kids through arts and crafts and
cooperative games. Carpools depart from Holy Trinity (in front of old
theater doors on O St. In between 35th and 36th) at 9:15 and return at
1:00. Permission slip can be found here:
www.trinity.org/FFRE/YouthFormation. Please return by Friday, October 31st
at noon to participate in carpools.


*November 2, from 11:30am-12:30pm*

Babysitters are needed for parents attending the catechist workshop.
Meet in Upper School Cafeteria. Please let me know asap if your child can
help.
