Over the past forty-eight hours, supporters from all across the country stepped up to fully-fund our "Get Out the Vote" plan.

You won't hear this often from a sitting Senator facing re-election, but that means I'm not asking you for any more money for my campaign.

That doesn't make this Tuesday's election any less urgent -- control of the Senate hangs in the balance, and your help can tip the scales on races that could decide the direction of our country's political leadership: Senator Kay Hagan in North Carolina; Michelle Nunn, who is running in Georgia; Senator Mark Pryor of Arkansas; and Senator Mark Udall of Colorado.

We hear a lot in the news about cynicism, negativity, and low-turnout in a midterm election.

But I'm happy to share the news that millions of Americans have rejected that narrative. I see it in the volunteers contributing their time and in the record number of grass roots, small-dollar donors giving to state and local races in 2014.

Theodore Roosevelt said, "In any moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing. The worst thing you can do is nothing."
