Yep. I don't have enough details to properly evaluate it as an investment but I completely disagree that it's not tech. John is the classic Bay Area tech snob that believes the only innovation happens in the valley. Meanwhile the rest of the investing world believes software and big data is a huge bubble right now which is why they're struggling to raise money. Because of the multi- billion dollar concussion settlement in the NFL, there are huge sums of money being put aside to battle concussions which will flow to companies like this. And most importantly, potential LPs will recognize that fact and understand how the DC team could facilitate the opportunity set for them.

Let me talk to Devon/ you know he and Chris lost a lot of money in RC 1 w/ an investment in a body armor company. But the know the space really well in the military side.

Their prototype received a lot of hype in the NFL a few years ago when the Philadelphia Eagles announced that Michael Vick could come back from multiple broken ribs because he would wear their vest. Since then, many well known NFL players are using it and it sounds like the company is growing quickly and penetrating the various professional and college leagues quickly. They are also expanding in military applications through an acquisition.
