My feedback on new slide deck / options: 1. I like page 4 as a replacement for what we have 2. I still like page 6 – cleaner look 3. Page 9 is fine as a replacement, sort of looks like a soccer ball, but okay. 4. I like page 11, maybe have the role of gov in the middle and then have the three areas spoke out top, bottom left, bottom right? 5. Page 14 is fine 6. I like page 21, but with our original photos for each vector 7. Page 12, 27, 29, 37 and 39 are a good replacements 8. I like our original case study format, I think we keep it as is, same for fund terms page. Any potential takers for the $8.4mm left in the Counsyl Series D? 2. See attached. We had a professional designer look at our deck. The attached has some alternatives for some of our slides. Let's discuss if we want to change any of them. Per your guidance, I went back to the original slide template and fonts. Here I'm providing various options to choose from for the slides you indicated to focus on. Hopefully this way it will be easier to decide what to keep/discard. The photos included are samples in lo-res format and once we decide on the final ones I'll purchase them and provide the hi-res version. Look forward to our discussion at 9am PT/Noon ET. Let's use the same dial in: 202 446 0487, 333188# Also, we have never presented the deck on a screen. 99% of the time we will send folks a PDF or give them a printout so focusing on transitions is not a priority for us. I'll have another draft for our Monday call. I'll focus on the pages you highlighted and will provide you with options for each one. I'll keep your existing template and fonts. For Monday, should I use same conference number as last time or call you directly to your office or mobile? -Guillermo On Jul 25, 2014, at 4:44 PM, John DeLoche <john@rstp.com> wrote: Hi Guillermo, Let's shoot for 9am PT on Monday. Basically the presentation in its current format has been working well for us. We like the fonts and the overall format. Specifically, we like that it is clean and direct. We would like to enhance it to make it clean and perhaps a little more edgy. We are mostly Mac users and our sense of style is pretty minimalistic and clean. Our thinking is the best candidate pages for a format clean-up/enhancement would be slides 2 (to make it less of a "Wall of Words"), 5, 11 and 12. The pictures you added for investment themes (slide 5) are a move in the right direction, although the pictures themselves do not feel consistent with the themes and are rather pedestrian. We are trying to convey a sense of deep technology innovation on this slide and capture the essence of this special and exciting time in the evolution of technology. For example, it does not feel right to have a picture of folks holding papers for "The Quantification of Everything"--this theme describes the elimination of paper and creation of deep analytics around data. For "Software and Robotics disintermediating traditional business models," think Uber and mobility as well as robots doing the jobs that humans have historically done. Electric cars are captured in this theme as well as they are essentially powered by software enhanced battery systems. Maybe we have the same text boxes but you can find better pics for the four themes or we go with another master picture to replace the "matrix" we currently have there. These four slides are pretty important but frankly are too boring in our presentation as it currently exists. If you can find a way to turbo-charge them that would be great. I would focus on those slides only at this point and sorry we were not more clear about what we like and don't like in the presentation. Thanks for your efforts here and I hope this provides some better directional guidance. Have a great weekend and let's speak at 9 on Monday. I'm available today after 2:30pm or Monday 9am or 4pm. Let me know if either of these work. In general, we like the look and feel of our existing presentation but are looking to upgrade it with images or formatting that might be more exciting than those we currently have (pages 5 and 11 for example). We are not looking for a wholesale restructuring of the presentation with new fonts, etc. Just an upgrade to what we have which we think is clean and simple. I hope this helps. Happy to have another call if we need to. This one does include slide transitions so it's better if you view it in slide show mode. Let me know your thoughts. Open to any changes you need. A few comments: 1) I've worked on slides 1-13 so far which were the ones you indicated are typically covered in the meeting and I arranged them in the order you said are covered. I will work on the rest in the next couple days. 2) In slide 2, need you to tell me what other bullet points should go there. 3) Slide 10 has some draft stock images and therefore have a watermark. I will purchase these once I get your alignment that these look good. 4) Let me know your feedback on overall look and feel. I can also add some transitions (not too flashy of course as we want to keep this professional). Questions for you: - What's the difference between RSTP and RSTP II? Both are shown in the executive summary and wasn't sure if there was a distinction - Do you typically use PC or Mac? Not a big deal as all the fonts I'm using would work on both but just checking.
