Hi Kathleen,
I'm confused. We were supposed to meet tomorrow at 11 am to discuss the first Eleanor R dialogue. We do need to get rolling on this. We don't need to do lunch if you don't have time--that was just for fun.

I'm happy to do 10 am or 11 am tomorrow and lunch the following week or lunch another time when we can all get together. We need about an hour to discuss the dialogue and what we're going to do.

Tomorrow afternoon I'm on a plane to Seattle and will be there the rest of the week so tomorrow is the only day this week I can do it. Would be great if we can meet tomorrow morning but no problem if we need to postpone until next week.

The situation is that we need to hold the first dialogue of the season in early or mid October and we need to give the members a month notice. If you can't meet tomorrow that's totally ok--I don't want you to worry about it. But I'm going to have to move forward and at least invite a guest speaker for the first session and get out invites. I'm thinking of CBS's State department reporter Margaret Brennan to be the guest speaker. I'll need to know ASAP what dates you have available in October so I can coordinate with Margaret, make arrangements, get out invites, ect so we can kick off the season in October with you as the new Chair. We're all very excited for you to take over.

Either way, just let me know what works best for you. When we do meet, tomorrow or next week, we want to discuss who guest speakers should be, how to frame sessions, topics for discussion , dates and what new members we want to invite.

I'm really looking forward to seeing you. This is going to be a lot of fun.
Andrew
