I hope you are all well, enjoyed your summer! I did get to see Kathleen and
your girls a couple times this summer.


As you know I get asked frequently to consult, advise, introduce and
fundraise for various individuals, companies and ventures. I am now
putting more of my time into this role which is interesting, challenging,
and a logical complement to my current role. More times than not I will
pass on the opportunity if I feel it is not in my area of expertise but I
have found a few groups that I do I feel I can lead in the right
direction.


One of these groups that I was recently introduced to though a friend of
mine is a Baltimore-based AgTech company, Triea Systems, which does two
things with farm waste: turns its biomass heat into usable energy, and
creates three valuable by-products with a patented rinsing process. The
first process saves farmers money by effectively reducing or eliminating
the need for propane heat. (Insert statement about value of rinsing process
to farmers).


The company, founded in 2011, currently has $1.56M in revenue, operates in
a $100B market, and was named the 2014 Howard Tech Council’s Sustainable
Tech Company of the Year. They recently partnered with the MD Dept of
Natural Resources to commercialize the Quick Wash System™ mentioned above.
I met with the principles of the company last month – really great guys -
and have agreed to help them get in front of the right people in our area –
as clients, advisors or investors.

Because of your background and various roles that you and others at
Rosemont Seneca play a part I felt that you might be interested in learning
more about Triea Systems and meeting the team.
