Guys, Nicole reached out to me last night after the CM meeting, which went very well after the confusion caused by their admin of not being on their calendar. I sent her the follow up note below. I suggest we use this kind of confidence in our marketing going forward and play offense in a big way. Going to send a similar follow up note to Jerry Yang/Pierre Omidyar's family office. Best, John ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: John DeLoche <john@rstp.com> Date: Wed, Jul 16, 2014 at 3:17 PM Subject: Re: Thanks for coming in, Apologies for the mixup in schedule To: Nicole Belytschko <nicole@cmcapitaladvisors.com> Hi Nicole, Thanks for your note and I'm glad it worked out--it was nice to see you and my team enjoyed meeting you. It would be great to get the kiddos together sometime soon. As discussed, attached please find our PPM and references. Please let me know if there is anything else you would like to review. We are ironing out final terms on the next investment we touched upon briefly during our meeting. Like our other investments, this is a first institutional round in a profitable, disruptive technology company that is experiencing explosive growth. They do not need our money, but we are being let in specifically for our business development value add. Our LPs will also be offered a direct opportunity in this deal. One of the things Goldman and Neuberger like about us is that we are investing the fees we receive back in our companies in the form of business development services. That is an important aspect of our differentiation and competitive advantage that gives us exclusive access to great deals. Our portfolio companies tell us that there is really no other team in the growth equity arena that can match our expertise and capabilities. We would love to partner with you and have CM be part of our success story.
