Hello Professor Biden,

Just dropping you a note to check in. What a crazy couple of months in global politics! No doubt you and Professor Norton will have tons of new material to choose from for next year’s advocacy class. In any case, I am sure you are keeping busy.

To give you a quick update on my job search, I decided to start looking in the private sector. I really wanted to return to government service, but unfortunately I have not had much luck on that front. The private sector is a lot easier to navigate, and so far I have one job offer and a few promising leads. That said, I am trying to hold out a little longer to see if I can make it into the policy community somehow. I worry that if I return to the private sector now, I will never leave. Probably not such a terrible thing, but that is not why I came back to Georgetown for my master’s. Anyway, I would love to know what you think!

p.s. I saw that Brian McKeon finally got confirmed by the Senate. About time! Political issues and treaty snafus aside, if someone that qualified has to jump through hoops for 7 months, it makes you wonder if the rest of us even have a prayer! Good for him, though.
