We'll see what he actually says tonight but I don't know why the President doesn't do what the Bushies would have done at this point in time and go full patriotism/kill the terrorists. Why wouldn't the Hagans, Pryors and Landrieus love that.

And make Congress vote. Public opinion is with him on this one unlike Syria last year.

Go meet with the Arab leaders somewhere and have them all say they are going to be part of a coalition to defeat ISIS. I know that's harder but get them all to sign on. If Obama is going to turn around his approval and keep the Senate going full scale Bush on this (not boots on the ground - just the playing to patriotism part) and look like a leader.
