Iowa Republican lawmakers want to inject politics into our courts. It’s a power grab that threatens the checks and balances of our system of government.


Republican politicians at the State Capitol were furious when the Iowa Supreme Court struck down their plan to stop women from making their own decisions , so they are ending the merit-based system that keeps our courts fair and impartial.


Their new plan would allow the special interests and Republican donors to pick right-wing judges to outlaw all abortions in our state.


The Supreme Court is no place for Republican-picked social extremists to make a woman’s healthcare decisions for her.


Those decisions are personal and the government should stay out of it.


Nearly 70% of all Americans agree that a woman’s reproductive decisions should stay between her and her doctor.


Show State House Republicans that we trust women .
