Hunter, I’m reaching out to ask you to support a close colleague of mine: Congresswoman Lucy McBath.


She’s just starting her first term in Congress, but I’ve already seen Lucy’s leadership first-hand, Hunter. Her office is just down the hall from mine on Capitol Hill, and we’ve worked side-by-side to push for common-sense gun safety reforms that are long overdue in this country.


Lucy’s the kind of no-nonsense leader that we need more of in Congress. But here’s the thing, Hunter: She only won her seat by ONE PERCENT last year -- and the GOP has already hit the ground running to try defeating her in next year’s elections.


Lucy’s race will be one of their top targets in 2020. That’s why we’re rallying Team Lisa to help Lucy hit her big end-of-month goal of $5,000 before midnight on Thursday!

Seven years ago, Lucy lost her son Jordan to a senseless act of gun violence. She turned her grief into a passion for public service and promoting gun safety reform -- and she’s now one of the leaders of that important work as Vice Chair of the Gun Violence Prevention Task Force.


But the NRA and Republican donors can’t stand to see leaders like Lucy work to make our communities safer, which is why they’re already pouring money into her 2020 race.


Lucy’s seat is the only one from Georgia on the GOP’s target list for 2020, and her team needs a strong fundraising showing right from the start to get out ahead of their brazen attacks.
