Last Thursday marked the one year anniversary of the tragic shooting in Parkland, Florida. Not a day later, there was another shooting in Aurora, Illinois.

It seems we can’t go a week in America without news of a mass shooting. It’s unacceptable, and it’s long past time to take action to prevent it.

This January, Democrats in the House introduced bipartisan legislation to create Universal Background checks on gun purchases. Will you sign on in support of this crucial legislation?
