Dear Tenants,

December is here and that usually means lots of holiday parties and merry fun.

To show our appreciation for YOU as our valued tenants, please join us for our annual Tenant Holiday Cheer on Wednesday, December 20th, at 10:00AM in the main lobby. We will offer some Swedish holiday treats and refreshments for you to enjoy.


There are also two upcoming Swedish Christmas events here at House of Sweden that may be of interest to you:

* Saturday, December 2nd – Swedish Women’s Educational Association of Washington DC together with House of Sweden and Embassy of Sweden host the annual Swedish Christmas Bazaar at House of Sweden. SWEA DC’s Christmas Bazaar is a hugely popular Washington event that kick starts the Christmas season on the first Saturday of December between the hours of 11AM-5PM. Talented artisans and vendors offer everything from gifts, crafts, textiles, books and homemade bread to Kosta Boda and Orrefors glassware, and Swedish delicacies, such as “princesstårta” and “glögg”, are certain to get you in the spirit of the season. The event concludes with traditional Swedish caroling by a Swedish St Lucia Procession.


* Thursday, December 7th – The Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce invites you to the 17th Annual Swedish Holiday Event at House of Sweden from 6:30PM-9:00PM for a traditional Swedish holiday buffet, an open bar including traditional Swedish glögg (mulled wine), a raffle, and more.
