R.Hunter: In less than a month, Democrats have the rare opportunity to turn a ruby-red state blue. On December 12, Alabama will hold a special election to replace Jeff Sessions in the Senate, and recent polling shows that Democrats can flip this seat.

The reason: Doug Jones.

Doug is an incredible candidate, a man who has dedicated his career to bettering the lives of those around him. A social justice warrior from his early days, Jones made national headlines by prosecuting the Ku Klux Klan members behind the 1963 16th Street Baptist Church bombing in Birmingham - earning justice for the congregation and the entire community - more than three decades later.

Now, a recent Fox News poll shows Doug ahead of his opponent, Republican extremist Roy Moore - and right-wing groups are going to spend the next month pouring millions of dollars into Alabama, trying to buy the state for President Trump and the GOP. Doug is counting on this team to help him fight back before midnight. Please, give $5 or more right now to elect Doug Jones and help Democrats take back the Senate!

The views of Doug's opponent aren't "just" extreme. They are alarming, incendiary and unabashedly discriminatory. He believes Muslims should not be allowed to serve in Congress and has ties to white supremacists. He is vehemently against marriage equality and was one of the loudest voices proclaiming that President Obama wasn't born in this country.

Nate Silver's FiveThirtyEight just reported that Democrats have a real
shot of swinging this race, but unless Democrats nationwide chip in $5 here and $10 there to elect Doug, Roy Moore will win on December 12. That is why I told Doug this team would help him hit his $10,000 goal before midnight.

So please, R.Hunter, I need you to give $5 by midnight to help Doug Jones win in Alabama and beat Republican extremist Roy Moore in just a few weeks.
