It's a side that is often overlooked in favor o= sensational legends of blood oaths and toe-curling conspiracies. </span><=p> <p><span style="font-family: book antiqua,palatino; font-size: 12px;"><=trong>David Richards</strong> sheds some light on the lesser known st=ries of Yale's secret societies. He takes us through the history from Phi =eta Kappa in the American Revolution (originally a social and drinking soc=ety) through Skull and Bones and its rivals in the nineteenth and twentiet= centuries. '72)<s=an style="font-family: book antiqua,palatino; font-size: 12px;"> was tas=ed by Yale President Kingman Brewster to write a history of the Yale Corpo=ation to undergird that board's expansion in the 1960's to include previou=ly-excluded women and ethnic and religious minorities. His <em>Rudyard Kip=ing: A Bibliography </em>was nominated for the bibliography prize of the I=ternational League of Antiquarian Booksellers. Earlier works include co-ed=ting<em> Kipling and His First Publisher</em> and authoring <em>Rudyard Ki=ling: The Books I Leave Behind</em>. Residing in Scarsdale, New York, he i= <a href="http://ycwd.memberclicks.net/message2/link/81819c86-1801-4c53-=ef1-9fccf8620496/2" target="_blank" track="true">Senior Counsel with S=eptoe & Johnson LLP</a>.
