Dear Robert,

We have Republican politicians running scared and threatening to sue because they're feeling uneasy that 1 of 3 districts currently under review will flip to Democrats.

Yesterday, we formally filed recounts for District 40 and District 94, and in District 28, election results are currently being reviewed by a federal judge because scores of voters received ballots while others never even had their votes counted.

I can't blame them. Republicans are currently leading these districts by razor-thin margins:

District 28—Democrat Josh Cole is down by 82 votes
District 40—Democrat Donte Tanner is down by 106 votes
District 94—Democrat Shelly Simonds is down by 10 votes

These recounts and federal review will take place over the next several weeks so please stay informed and diligent so we can make sure Republican lawmakers do not steal this election from Virginian voters by using the courts and their attorneys.

All we need is just 1 more seat in the House of Delegates to split control and 2 seats to obtain an outright majority.
