I attached a quick memo outlining the proposed events with the VP for my campaign. I’m trying to get a date confirmed for June 10 in Philly (more like Haverford, PA) and then a DE event piggy backing off of that. My goal from the DCCC for the second quarter is to raise $375K for Red to Blue status. These two events could possibly get me half way there- WHICH IS HUGE FOR ME!

Quick version:

We want to do events before June 14 - because that’s the primary election date, and I can still collect double max - $2,700 for primary and $2,700 for general.

PHILLY EVENT:
Dan Hilferty (Chairman of BCBS and family friend) wants to host an event for me at his house, co-hosted by Tom Leonard and others.
He has his fundraiser, Pat Brier, working on this and will build out the event. Pat is from Scranton and is Sen Casey’s brother-in-law. Sen. Casey also committed to come to this event given the date that works for the VP.
Some Philadelphia labor leaders will also be involved - Pat Gillespie (another hometown family friend) and Johnny Doc.
We want to ask David Cohen and Steve Cozin to co-host once we have a date.
Pat Brier thinks we can raise $100K for such an event.

Date: Friday, June 10 - lunch at Hilferty’s House (he lives on Merion Golf Course) from Noon-2pm.

Biden Sched that day: Little Hunter has his graduating ceremonies that morning at Tatnall and Nick Biden graduates from Haverford School from 2pm-4pm (Hilferty lives 5 mins from Haverford School). Then according to Anthony Bernal - there will be a Biden family Dinner afterward.

DE EVENT
Josh Alcorn is running point on this
goal would be to do an event either the Thursday night before the friday Philly event or the day after (saturday, June 11)
Josh was thinking to host a $1K reception with the VP followed by an exclusive $5K dinner with the VP
Josh thinks we could raise from $50K-75K
