For going to see Debbie with me today. You were really patient and I felt like you were trying to understand what I was saying. I hope you felt that I heard you as well.

I want you to know that I support whatever you need to do to stay sober. If I'm doing or saying something that gets in the way of that, please let me know. We are in uncharted territory and I know we both want to do what's best for each other and our family.

I know the incredibly difficult place you are in right now. I know you are being pulled in every direction and you are trying to figure out how to make it work. I can't imagine the pressure you must feel from everyone.

I'm willing to meet with Debbie whenever you would like but I want you to know that I am ok. I want you to focus on your sobriety and how you are going to stay healthy in every way. Once you get to that place, we can talk about our marriage.

I hope you felt ok about today too. I know it was painful.
