Read below for several reminders about this events this week. Looking

*Our monthly informal parent coffee* at Le Pain Quotidien, 4874
Massachusetts Ave., will take place on Friday, April 29 from 8-9 a.m., not
Tuesday morning.

*Come to the 9th Grade Family Social Friday, April 29,* from 5-7:00 pm in
the Sledge Garden. Enjoy community among 9th graders and their families.
Pizza will be provided by the Parents Association. If you are able, bring a
vegetable for dipping or a dessert to share. Please let us know if you are
planning to attend by replying on the online sign up.

*Thursday, April 28, View the film Screenagers.* We will begin with a
light dinner in the Meeting House lobby at 6:00 p.m.; the film will start
at 6:30. Following the screening, we will move to round table discussion about
life with digital devices for children and parents in the dining room.

*Friday April 29, Upper School Spring Choral Concert *7:30-9:00 p.m. in the
R. L. Smith Meeting Room.

*Sunday, May 1,* *Upper School Spring Orchestra Ensemble* 2:30-4:30 p.m.

*Friday, May 13, Teacher Appreciation Breakfast*, Look for announcements to
come soon about volunteering to bring food for the Upper School Teachers.

Your Grade 9 Reps

Dear Friends:

The Sidwell Friends Tennis Round Robin is *two weeks* *away!* My family
will be participating and I hope more 9th grade families will join this day
of tennis and fun! The Round Robin will take place on *Saturday, May
7 from 3:30 to 6:00 p.m.* at the *William H.G. Fitzgerald Tennis Center* (home
of the CitiOpen and Washington Tennis and Education Foundation). Community
members of *all ages and skill sets* are encouraged to attend. Even if
you’re not a tennis player, come enjoy the matches, food and fun!

Participate in drills with Head Varsity Tennis Coach *Octavio Delasobera* and
many of the *top boys and girls varsity players* who will be participating
in the event. *Adult tickets cost $50.00 and student tickets cost
$30.00. *Sponsorship
opportunities are also available and all proceeds benefit student financial
