Hunter -- As you can imagine, debate day is a big day for any candidate. As Kamala's campaign manager, I've been working hard with her to prepare for any question the moderators may ask. I know she's going to make you proud when she takes the stage tonight.

Here's a look into some of the prep we've been doing at HQ before the big day:

Running through questions

Last week, we asked you for some of your debate questions and you wanted to know about a wide range of topics.

Teresa from Alameda asked about Kamala's plan for climate change. In the Senate, Kamala will stand up to the science deniers and fight to pass national climate change legislation that promotes innovation, like creating a cap-and-trade market for carbon pollution.

Richard from Sonoma asked about Citizens United. Right now, there's a real opportunity to overturn Citizens United with a new Supreme Court justice. But until the Senate does its job and holds a vote, the best way to fight against special interests and Super PACs is through grassroots organizing. That's why we're collecting $5 or $10 contributions to send a message that Kamala is the one who will get results as our next Senator.

Ben from LA asked, "Dodgers or Giants?" Kamala is a big Giants fan. It's the one thing that she and I have agreed to disagree on.

2) Launching our grassroots one-day goal

As mentioned above, we set an aggressive one-day goal of $10,000 by midnight tonight.

In truth, we're currently short. We're 34% to our goal. If you can, donate $5 or $10 to get us back on track.

3) Spreading the word about the debate

Be sure to check in on Kamala's Facebook page for information on where to watch the debate. In the meantime, chip in $5 to our debate day goal and let your friends know about it too.
